He sounds too experienced to be this young.

With a presidential election looming, Ian Lara arrived in a Washington, DC that wanted to laugh at anything BUT what we’ve argued about on social media or at family dinner tables.

In a room of scattered demographics united in their collective need of a safe but real laugh; Lara’s rapid fire delivery hit multiple targets with alarming regularity; employing an ease that was scary.

Make no mistake, The Improv was abuzz, during….and after his performance.

Avoiding the simple… without over or underestimating his audience’s intelligence seems to be Lara’s gift

Fans of his online material won’t be disappointed. With Lara so grounded in his voice … his delivery, there’s a rhythm that delivers familiarity to the audience but stops short of feeling too formulaic or repetitive.

If he comes to your town…and you haven’t gotten your ticket; you’re doing yourself a disservice.

To be honest I owed him a review for his performance last year. But we got it straight this year..
